Denis Morgenthaler is a servant, horizontal leader with Passion for Patients, Acting on Convictions and Driven by Purpose. After finalizing his diploma in Business Administration, he made his first international experience in Production and Quality Assurance for Volkswagen in Mexico, followed by consultancy at Accenture and joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2002 in Procurement (R&D and Product Supply GMP services incl. Contract development and manufacturing) and moved in 2011 to supply chain management. In his current role as VP and Head of Global Supply Management Steriles and Devices at Bayer Pharmaceuticals., he oversees the supply management of Steriles and Devices globally, ensuring product availability for patients while delivering on financial commitments. He continuously optimizes the supply chain to achieve these goals and manages end-to-end supply chain networks, including supply risk management and new product introductions. Throughout his career at Bayer, he played a vital role in product life cycle management of various blockbusters, end-to-end supply management as well as developing, implementing global IBP/S&OP practices.
Jens Geserick is the Global Head of Supply Chain - at Rolls-Royce, based in Berlin, Germany. He brings extensive experience from previous positions at Rolls-Royce, and has been instrumental in building the Rolls-Royce Electrical business unit since October 2017. In his current role as Global Head of Supply Chain for the electrical propulsion division, he contributes to developing and optimizing the supply chain for electric aerospace products. This is a crucial step as Rolls-Royce focuses on becoming the leading provider of electric and hybrid-electric propulsion systems for the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) market.
As an expert for Supply Chain & Operations, Matti had the privilege to work and create value for different companies across the industries. His projects were ranging from digital supply chain vision shaping to complex business transformations as well as short and agile RPA studies, covering supply chain planning from S&OP to capacity and material planning. Since November 2020 he is responsible for S&OP Planning at Munters.
